The Colchester WIGs are a growing Women's Institute based in Colchester, Essex. We’re out to celebrate what it means to be a woman in the modern world – and that’s not being a WAG-wannabe. We’re the WIGs, the W.I. Girls, and we’re here to bring back more traditional values and pastimes that are often overlooked in today’s busy lifestyle.
With more than 30 members from a mixture of ages and backgrounds, we pride ourselves on being an all-encompassing group of women who are driven by a common interest - a desire to learn new things, discover new interests and share our experiences with like-minded people. It’s about being ourselves, while learning and growing from our adventures together.
